Why do I need to show my identification when making a purchase?
First everyone who purchases Alcoholic Beverages must be at least 21 years of age. Plus if you are using a credit or debit card, we must establish that your name matches the credit card. The acceptable forms of identification are a valid Drivers License, a NC special identification card, a US military ID, or an official passport.
Is the price of liquor the same at other ABC stores in the state?
YES. The retail price of spirituous liquor sold in ABC stores shall be uniform throughout the state.
How much liquor can I purchase at one time?
A maximum of 40 liters may be purchased and transported at one time. A purchaser must complete a Purchase-Transportation Permit at the Store if they have purchased more than 8 liters of Spirituous Liquor.
Can I return or exchange my liquor?
The Craven County ABC Board policy is NO returns of any product once the item(s) has left the store.

How can I purchase an item your store does not stock?
If the NC ABC currently carries the item an Associate can request it from another Store or have it ordered from the ABC Distribution Center. If the item is only available through Special Order a Request Form is completed at the Store. You must prepay for a case lot before your item can be ordered.
